How far apart can the hooks be installed?

The Swivel Bike Wall Mount can be mounted from stud to stud (assuming 16" Stud Spacing). If you are concerned about the handlebars interfering with each other and have limited space, or to maximize the swivel capability, then you can stagger the mount at different heights. If mounting stud to stud, you may need to swivel each bike out of the way when loading in between racks. If you do not want to deal with having to swivel other bikes to load one, then a good guideline is to have 20"-25" of space tow work with.

How far will my bike stick out from the wall when I rotate it and lock it to the side?

How far your bike will stick out from the wall when you rotate it and lock it to the side is going to be dependent on the measurements of your specific bike's handlebars and pedals. To give you a general idea, when we measured a couple of our bikes, we found the following: Mountain bike was 31 inches from the wallRoad bike was 25 inches from the wall

Can this be installed on concrete walls?

Most of our racks are designed to be mounted on wood studs and come with hardware for that purpose. They can be installed on masonry or metal, however you will need to obtain the proper hardware separately. For concrete we recommend 5/16-in x 2-1/4-in Concrete Screws Anchors. For metal we recommend #10 x 2-1/2" Hex Washer Head Self Drilling Tek Screws

The holes themselves are 7.5mm to fit our 6.35 lag screw
