Got Questions? We got answers

How far apart can the hooks be installed?

The Swivelstow Bike rack can be mounted from stud to stud (assuming 16" Stud Spacing). If you are concerned about the handlebars interfering with each other and have limited space, or to maximize the swivel capability, then you can stagger the mount at different heights. If mounting stud to stud, you may need to swivel each bike out of the way when loading in between racks. If you do not want to deal with having to swivel other bikes to load one, then a good guideline is to have 20"-25" of space tow work with.

Do you provide screws that will go into concrete block?

Our Swivelstow racks can indeed be mounted to concrete, cinder block, or brick walls. However, please note that we provide standard mounting hardware designed for wood wall studs. For installation on concrete or masonry surfaces, you'll need to purchase additional concrete/masonry anchors, such as TapCons. These anchors are widely available at hardware stores, both in-person and online. Just ensure that the anchors you choose are rated to support the maximum weight of the gear your rack will hold.If this is your first time installing on a concrete or brick wall, I recommend consulting someone experienced or checking out video tutorials. This can help you understand the process, as it may require a bit more effort and clean-up compared to mounting on wood studs.

Can I choose not to use the Tire Catch?

Regarding the Rear Tire Catch, it should be fine. It may allow a bit of sliding back and forth, but it’s not necessary for keeping the bike securely on the rack.
